I see you have found our little home on the web! We are proud to announce the launch of two comic books this Summer 2007 from some very talented folks located right here in our hometown of Richmond, VA USA!
Firstly, I invite you to check our SANCTUARY: HOPE IS NOT YET LOST. This is a full color comic book by Kevin Roberts, Brian Vissagio and Martin Krause. This comic is part of Kevin's final project in the illustration school at VCU. Not only is VCU regarded as one of the finest illo schools on the East Coast, but Kevin received an A for his comic work! Excellent!
Second, I would like for you to learn a bit about SPIKEY AND EINSTIEN. This is an excellent comic featuring a "not too smart" boy and his "genius" dog! This is produced by Kirk O'Brien, who has been teaching cartooning and Animation at the Visual Arts Center here in Richmond, VA for over a decade. This is Mr. O'Brien's first full length comic book, and we are thrilled to publish it!
So...who is Brett's Comic Pile? We are! In addition to being one of the world's largest distributors of out of print comic books in the world, we have decided to cautiously dip our toes into the wild world of comic publishing! These are our first two books. Enjoy!
